Microsoft Excel recognizes information as time if hours, minute and seconds are seperated by colons. Example: 8:30:05 AM
Times are stored in Excel as decimal numbers. Midnight 12:00 AM is 0 and noon 12:00 PM is stored as 0.5
You must enter 'a' or 'p' after the time or Excel assumes it is 'AM'
