Training is our passion. We improve our training methods regularly!
Dr. Dinesh K Takyar, proprietor of the Family Computer Club, started the institute in 1993 with the aim of training children, adults and senior citizens in the use of computers.
In the beginning we trained the students in C, C++, VB and Lotus Office Suite. Later most people wanted to learn MS-Office, Internet and E-mail. Also VB was popular among the school students and C and C++ were popular with the engineering students. Even today many engineering students wish to learn C or Java.
As outsourcing and finance became important, many persons wished to learn Excel and VBA. Now the Family Computer Club focuses on Excel with VBA and Tally, an accounting software which is used by many offices in India. Also we have moved from coaching in the classroom to training corporates. Our focus today is to provide training and solutions in Microsoft Excel to companies in their premises.
Our training methods are informal and aim to provide practical solutions to the specific problems faced by the trainees.
Our online training videos have become popular in India and abroad. We will keep on adding more videos with improved content on our website, blog and youtube both in Hindi and English. Also watch out for the older videos whose content will be improved based on our current knowledge and solutions.
