Array frormulas in Microsoft Excel - a powerful tool

How to use array formulas in Excel:

• Normally you would multiply each of the number of shares with the the price of the shares
• You would do the same multiplication withe rest of the data or use 'autofill'
• Then you would 'sum' the individual results to get a total
• With 'array' formulas you can achieve this in one step as demonstrated in the Excel training video
