The autofilter feature in Microsoft Excel can help you get information from your Excel data quickly and easily by using the drop down filter criteria. For example, if you wanted to find out how many students whose name begins with 'a' took the exam, you would use the autofilter feature. You could also filter all the students who got grade 'A' in Math. If you had sales data, you could filter out all people who made a sales greater than or less than some amount.
