In Excel 2003 the tables were known as lists. You can now create a table
in Excel 2007 to
mmanage your data independently from other Excel worksheet cells. When
you create a table from your data by selecting the appropriate cells
filter arrows appear in the first row of the table which can also be
defined as the header row. Excel 2007 offers a variety of predefined
attractive styles that you can apply to your tables. You can add or
delete a record from the table. You can also perform calculations in
your new table independently of other Excel worksheet cells as shown in
the training video.
