The Excel
2007 interface is totally different from the Excel 2003
interface. In the beginning this causes a little bit of confusion but
as you go along you discover interesting new features. Now you have
1048576 rows by 16384 columns in each worksheet. Instead of the menu
bar, we have the office button, quick access toolbar and the 'ribbon'.
The ribbon has various command tabs. Each command tab has groups of
commands which can be quickly accessed to perform specific tasks like
changing the font to bold or italics, for example. Of course, the
fundamentals of the formulas, functions and macros don't change!
Although the new interface has been vastly improved, it does irritate
someone who has been using the Excel version 2003! Watch the video and
maybe the 'irritants' will be reduced.
Note: The introduction to Excel file
is about 12MB. So please be patient!
