Using named ranges in formulas can increase your productivity in Microsoft Excel

How to implement the use of named ranges for calculations in Excel:

Select your data
Click on 'Insert' in the menu bar
Then select 'Name' and next 'define...'
In the 'Define name' window give an appropriate name as demonstrated in the Excel training video
Finally you can see, it's easier to perform your calculations using a 'name' rather than using cell addresses or ranges in Excel
