Page layout (header footer) in Excel 2007:
If you wish to view and change the header and footers, you need to
click the page layout tab or the icon in the status bar of the Excel
sheet and select 'page layout' icon which appears to the right of
the'normal' layout icon. Now you can click on the 'header' portion of
the Excel worksheet and use many interesting types of header formats.
In our case, we showed an example of how to put in the school's name.
Similarly you can click on insert to go to the header and input many
types of footers. We have used 'time' as an example. Once you have put
the headers and footers you can preview how the Excel sheet will print
in 'print preview' by clicking on the office button, print and finally
print preview. You can preview the data in the portrait or landscape
orienation. You can define different headers and footers for odd and
even pages. You can view how the printed data will look with or without
gridlines. Infact, you can define the margins and whether you wish to
print the headers on every page, if you have a large document or
worksheet that does not print on a single page.
