Sort function in Excel 2007 |
You can use the sort function in Excel to perform sort
in an ascending or descending order i.e. data can be sorted from the
lowest to the highest value or vice versa. If data in one column is
sorted that has other related columns with data then data in all the
columns is sorted properly so that the integrity of the data is
maintained. You may also require to use the sort function first before
performing a Vlookup or use the RANK
function. We have demostrated the 'sort' feature in Microsoft Excel
2007 along with other interesting calculations including how to
determine the rank of a student based on his percentage marks. Note how
