Using time functions in Excel you can calculate, for
example,
how many hours or minutes an employe spent on a task or how many hours
and minutes it took for the chemical reaction to complete. If you are
diabetic and taking insulin injections, you can see how your sugar
level is controlled over time.
- Microsoft Excel recognizes information as time if
hours,
minute and seconds are seperated by colons. Example: 8:30:05 AM
- Times are stored in Excel as decimal numbers.
Midnight
12:00 AM is 0 and noon 12:00 PM is stored as 0.5
- You must enter a or p after the time or Excel assumes
it is
AM
- The training video demostrates how to use formulas to
calculate time in Excel
